Best Practice Disability Employment Workshops will achieve positive change by increasing employment for people with disabilities in your organisation.
To achieve these outcomes we will examine award winner case studies from the Diversity at Work National Disability Employer of the Year Awards 2008/09/10 These workshops will be facilitated by Peter Rickards, a judge of the annual awards. Peter is a passionate advocate for increasing employment opportunities for people with disabilities or from diverse backgrounds. His work (of 30 years) in the not-for-profit sector, gives him an inside knowledge of how to achieve best practice. As a small business owner/operator and a person with disability, he understands the issues from both the employers and employees perspectives. Peter is the Founder and President ADDE Inc., Leadershipplus graduate, Certificate 4 Workplace Training and Assessment, Post graduate in Recreation and Leisure, & Small business Management. Workshop style is participatory /case study analysis format, runs for 3 hours, can be tailored to suit your organization’s needs.
